Description
A vaccine for the active immunization of animals against anthrax.

Composition
Contains a suspension of living spores of uncapsulated avirulent strain of Bacillus anthracis in alum-precipitated Clostridium chauvoei vaccine.

Indications
For the active immunization of livestock against anthrax and blackquarter (blackleg).

Dosage and administration
Cattle, horses, camels. 1.0ml
Sheep and goats. 0.5ml
Shake bottle well before the doses are withdrawn.
Route of administration: by subcutaneous injection.
Immunity is established 7-14 days after injection and last for 9-12 months.
In horses, immunity may take up to weeks to develop.
In endemic areas, vaccination every six months is advisable.
Under normal conditions annual revaccination will suffice.

Precautions
Administration of antibacterials should be avoided shortly before until 2 weeks after vaccination.
Avoid innoculation of animals in late pregnancy unless there is a serious risk of anthrax.
Part used container should be disposed of at the end each days operations, due to possibilities of accidental contamination of the vaccine under field condition.
In case of hypersensitivity reactions occurring after innoculation, treat the animal with adrenaline and / or antihistamines without delay.
No marked reactions follows vaccination.

Storage
Store between 2°C and 8°C, protected from light.
Do not freeze.
