Copper Sulphate

Description
Copper Sulphate is a blue crystalline substance which has a stringent and fungicidal properties.

Indications
For the prevention and treatment of foot rot and ringworm in Sheep, Goats and Cattle.

Directions for use
Foot Rot:
Put 250gm in 5 litres of water (5%). Mix to dissolve and put the solution in a foot bath and let the animals pass through daily. Change water every 14 days or as required.

Ring worm and other fungal infections
Put one and a half teaspoons (15gm) in a 300ml bottle. Mix with water until dissolved.
Apply solution with a brush to ringworm lesions for at least 14 days.

Note: A 5% w/v Copper Sulphate solution is fungicidal and bacteriostatic solution.
